3rd Shift Line Worker - Hospital (INTERNAL)

Summary

The Hospital Line Worker is responsible for ensuring that all orders (including pureed meals and Boost supplement orders) are accurately fulfilled. This includes verifying the contents of each order using a scanning system, checking that all components are present as the order states, and escalating any inventory discrepancies to the warehouse team for resolution.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

    • Accurately prepare and fill pureed meal orders, boost supplement orders, and standard meal/snack orders as required
    • Scan meal, snack, pureed, and boost orders and verify that all required components are included in the order boxes based on system specifications; follow the prompts from the system to ensure all items are correctly included
    • Check for any missing items or discrepancies in orders and determine if the issue is inventory related
    • When an inventory error is identified, immediately escalate the issue to the warehouse team for resolution
    • Ensure all orders meet the company standards, are properly packaged, and are suitable for patient consumption
    • Work closely with other employees to ensure all orders are accurately and promptly filled

Required Skills and Experience

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
    • Close attention to detail and numbers
    • Good organization & communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task, work quickly and safely
    • Demonstrated commitment to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other food safety rules

Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Previous food production, assembly line, or order fulfillment center experience

Physical Requirements

    • Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms
    • Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen
    • Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
    • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
    • Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
    • Able to perform repetitive movements
    • Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for performing various duties in the warehouse in a fast-paced lean environment, including but not limited to: Receiving and put-away of all inbound receipts.
