3rd Shift Training Lead - Fulfillment (INTERNAL)

Summary

The Training Shift Lead mentors, coaches and guides fulfillment team members. The Training Shift Lead’s a resource to provide team members with support promoting training and development throughout the Mom’s Meals fulfillment program.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to

    • Provide on-the-job training to team members
    • Equip team members with working knowledge of GMPs among other policies and procedures
    • Support on-going team member professional development
    • Assess team member training comprehension and skill development
    • Initiate and sustain trusting professional relationships with team members and fulfillment leadership
    • Coach employees on Mom’s Meals fulfillment Best Practices
    • Maintain accurate and up to date documentation on training initiatives with team members
    • Assist Training and Development Specialist design, implement and evaluate training programs, initiatives, and projects
    • Assist Training and Development Specialist facilitate training and orientation with fulfillment team members

Required skills and experience

    • 2 years of experience working in various roles throughout a Mom’s Meals Fulfillment Center
    • Possess a comprehensive understanding of fulfillment positions, fulfillment operations, and fulfillment leadership expectations
    • Experience coaching and mentoring fulfillment team members
    • Demonstrated effective and persuasive communication skills
    • Strong written and verbal communicative skills

Physical requirements

    • Regularly required to use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms
    • Frequently is required to stand, talk, and listen
    • Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
    • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
    • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
    • Able to perform repetitive movements
    • Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)

This role is responsible for handling orders from packing to loading on truck to accurately ship orders on a timely basis through the Company’s shipping systems using UPS and Fed-Ex. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for performing various duties in the warehouse in a fast-paced lean environment, including but not limited to: Receiving and put-away of all inbound receipts. Loading and shipping all outbound pallets. Picking and loading pallets for shuttle to the Ohio Kitchen. Monitoring inventory levels of all items in designated Pick Line support locations, and refilling before inventory is depleted. Drop, move, and put-away quality impacted pallets as directed by Tech Services. Monitor the temperature of all areas of the warehouse and immediately notify a Supervisor if temperatures are out of tolerance. Responsible to keep the warehouse clean, neat, and organized. All moved products must be scanned timely and accurately so inventory records are always current and accurate.
