2nd Shift Fulfillment Training Lead (INTERNAL)

Summary

The Training Shift Lead mentors, coaches and guides fulfillment team members. The Training Shift Lead’s a resource to provide team members with support promoting training and development throughout the Mom’s Meals fulfillment program.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to

    • Provide on-the-job training to team members
    • Equip team members with working knowledge of GMPs among other policies and procedures
    • Support on-going team member professional development
    • Assess team member training comprehension and skill development
    • Initiate and sustain trusting professional relationships with team members and fulfillment leadership
    • Coach employees on Mom’s Meals fulfillment Best Practices
    • Maintain accurate and up to date documentation on training initiatives with team members
    • Assist Training and Development Specialist design, implement and evaluate training programs, initiatives, and projects
    • Assist Training and Development Specialist facilitate training and orientation with fulfillment team members

Required skills and experience

    • 2 years of experience working in various roles throughout a Mom’s Meals Fulfillment Center
    • Possess a comprehensive understanding of fulfillment positions, fulfillment operations, and fulfillment leadership expectations
    • Experience coaching and mentoring fulfillment team members
    • Demonstrated effective and persuasive communication skills
    • Strong written and verbal communicative skills

Physical requirements

    • Regularly required to use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms
    • Frequently is required to stand, talk, and listen
    • Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
    • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
    • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
    • Able to perform repetitive movements
    • Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)

The Lead Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for inventory accuracy in the facility. This position is a hands-on position, and it’s estimated that approximately 50% of a typical day will be physically counting inventory, ensuring proper FEFO, Lot Code tracking, and assisting with operational issues. The remaining time will be spent researching root causes and/or working with Inventory Specialist reviewing their root cause findings and proposing and implementing permanent corrective actions to supervisory and management staff. The hours are 7pm-3am.
