2nd Shift Room Lead (INTERNAL)

North Jackson, OH | Kitchen | Production | Full-Time, 2nd Shift

Summary

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

    • Coach, motivate, and lead team members to become a high-performing work team
    • Verify processed product counts and complete the required paperwork
    • Take inventory of sub comps to determine efficient planning of schedule demands for the room
    • Organize the team breaks to optimize efficiency and coverage of the line
    • Collaborate with leadership to accomplish the day’s projection
    • Assist Supervisor in preparation for the shift hand-off meeting for the oncoming shift
    • Use all required safety equipment and consistently follow all food-related sanitation and operating safety guidelines
    • Take the initiative to see and assist with general cleaning tasks in the area

Required Skills and Experience

    • Prior manufacturing experience
    • Must have good food safety and workplace safety record
    • Initiative and team leadership skills
    • Must be able to speak/read/write in English fluently
    • Able to train and coach new employees on tasks

Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Associate’s degree or trade school
    • Prior machine operation using production processing or packaging experience
    • Scanning and AX/inventory experience
    • Experience using forklifts and pallet jacks
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Physical Requirements

    • Regularly required to use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms
    • Frequently is required to stand, talk, and listen.
    • Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.
    • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
    • Able to perform repetitive movements
    • Able to work in variable temperatures

1st Shift Materials Support Representative (INTERNAL)
The Materials Support Representative is responsible for an in depth understanding of multiple roles and filling in and supporting said roles as assigned by supervision.
